ABOUT
Cailey McBride is an interior designer who has both commercial and residential design experience. Young and passionate, she takes pride in her ability for problem solving and integrating unique design solutions. The primary focus of her designs are to incorporate not only aesthetics, but functionality. One of the most important aspects of interior design is to curate the space to specific client needs, so every space serves the desired purpose.
GIVING BACK
Together, myself, eight other interior design students and our professor volunteered to work on a project for our local community. This project is a commercial use play/ therapy room for children, so we gathered information and design concepts to present to the board of the organization and they decided to go with a design that we called “Home Away From Home”. The overall concept of this design is using natural materials, cozy fabrics, and soft tones with light pops of color. The reason for this design is to guarantee that the space feels safe and welcoming to all children.
